PRAYER DURING THE JUBILEE YEAR

Every weekend during this Jubille Year, a different household will take home our Jubilee Shofar, using it as a focal point for prayer during the week. Whoever has the Shofar will take the week to intercede for our community, asking the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and minds during the Jubilee Year.

Whether your household is one person or fifteen, please consider signing up to take the Jubilee Shofar home for one week. The priest will give you the Shofar after communion at whatever Mass you attend. In addition to the Jubilee Shofar, you will get suggestions and guides for praying that week. Then return the Jubilee Shofar to the Ministry Center before 4pm on Friday so it is available for the next household.

SUPPORT OUR PRIESTS

We are always looking for parishioners interested in providing a meal for our priests. Our priests eat together on Saturday evenings. Meals can be delivered to the Ministry Center before 4pm on Friday, or to the Welcome Desk in church between 4:45-6:00p on Saturday. If you are interested in providing a meal, please click the "Provide a Meal for Our Priests" button below.

Do want to advertise your event in our Ransomed eNewsletter?

1) Only approved events on the official OLR calendar will be advertised. Any other request will be taken on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted to Fr. Matt no later than one week before the newsletter publication. Request for "repeating" advertisements will not be accepted but must be sent new each time they are to be included in the newsletter.

2) Advertisements may have images or attachments. Any non-text files (flyers, etc) should be sent in PNG or JPG format, not pdf or word. Any submission may be altered at the discretion of the Ransomed editors.

3) Please email content to Fr. Matt (frmatt@olransom.org) before Thursday at 12pm. Any submissions received after this time will not be included in that week's Ransomed. Please write, "Ransomed Submission" in the subject line.
